Project Description

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO), a facility of the National Science Foundation, contracted the exhibit planning and design firm Alchemy of Design, who partnered with Naughton Commutations and BergerABAM to develop a concept design for a new visitor experience at the Very Large Array (VLA). The most productive, versatile, and widely used radio telescope in the world, the VLA was upgraded in 2011, and NRAO wanted a new, state-of-the-art visitor experience to match.
